dcav8r - what are you talking about? How is it acceptable that 50 million don't have healthcare and another 50 million in any two year period also done have care? How is it acceptable that insurance companies can deny care for "pre-existing conditions" and skyrocket premiums where people can't afford them. Fifty percent of the bankruptcies in the U.S. are because of healthcare-related bills. If that isn't a fight worth having and winning, can you tell me one that is?

Political Shock? Really? Doesn't seem like much of a shock to me. Seems the Dem party shot themselves in the foot again like they did in Virginia. All this yappin about health care reform that really isn't reform--- They should be focused more on the economy.

When will we get over our obsession with politics? There is NO political solution to our struggle. It is a waste of time, money and energy.

The LGBT Movement has never embraced the idea of "changing minds" and has invested almost entirely in a non-existent political solution.

We will be equal when people believe we are. We do nothing in that regard. Now, politics is actually delaying our equality.

Sooner or later WE (all of us) will have to do the real work of creating our equality. We must enroll our fellow citizens. If we enroll a majority of our fellow citizens, the opposition will replace us and become the new minority.
