Equality Maryland reschedules lobby day

By on February 11, 2010

Equality Maryland has rescheduled its annual lobby day activities in Annapolis for Monday, Feb. 22.

In an announcement sent to the organization’s supporters, Equality Maryland Executive Director Morgan Meneses-Sheets said the record-breaking snowfall triggered postponement of the Feb. 8 event. But she noted the lobby day was being rescheduled quickly to maintain momentum.

“The timing of our lobby day is strategic,” she said. “It is early enough in the session to really make the maximum impact. We do not want to lose the momentum and excitement.”
