[...] One reason many people are confused is because there has been much reporting and signs that you are actually opposed to repealing DADT in 2010. At one point, Barney Frank declared outright “That’s because they don’t want it done this year, not because they want it done separately.” Frank later said he “misspoke.” But he’s stood by his assessment that your administration is “ducking” the issue and their message is “muddled about when we should move.” [...]

Bull-shit. Nothing LGBT-related in "on-track." It's over until after the mid-terms and that doesn't look good at all.

There is no "political solution" to LGBT equality. We better think of something else. Soon.

Well, this is a mixture of good and bad news. As for the House of Representatives moving forward with passing ENDA soon, (HR.3017) I'm not really surprised, as the Republicans can't delay and obstruct fairness there the way they do in the Senate with their damn filibusters. The progressive Democrats also have a much stronger hold on that house as opposed to the Senate where the Democrats are afraid or unwillingly to do anything to move LGBT rights forward. Harry Reid is also less effective and less supportive of gay rights than Speaker Pelosi.
I notice Frank mentioned the Repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell, but what about the Domestic Partnership Benefits & Obligations Act (HR.2517)? This bill has already been passed by its House and Senate committees and is just waiting for Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid to call for a floor vote on the bill. When are they going to bring DPBO up for a vote?
