here we have the whining of spoiled middle class gays! Obama has other things to deal with, remember? The near-collapse of this country’s economy,which even now isnt in the best shape, 2 wars (courtesy of the previous administration), international situations in Pakistan, Iran, etc – “gay issues” are not the only thing on his agenda! The whiners cant even see how much things have changed – the fact that same sex marriage can be discussed and taken seriously by larger and larger numbers of people is progress in itself! But no, the whiners want to cry because they cant have what they want RIGHT THIS MINUTE! Grow up!

I stopped reading at misinformation #1. “In only one year in office, the Obama Administration has extended benefits to same-sex partners of federal employees”. WRONG. I am a legally married gay man and 20 year federal employee. I CANNOT add my spouse to my medical insurance like straight married couples. President Obama is no friend to the GLBT community. His administration has worked against us in many areas. My hope for our community, this country, and the democratic party is that he does not seek re-election. He was a great campaigner who is unable to govern effectively. The man is destroying the party.
