Mary Knowles, 56, died on January 22, 2000. I have the Washington Blade article from back then saved. Memorial services were held in Waldorf, MD at Grace Brethren Church on Jan. 29.

wow all the old memories. I remember all of these people very fondly myself. My sister Sandy and I always hung at the Phase. Maybe you remember us Sue and Sandy Lampione. Sandy died 7 yrs ago with lung cancer. Remember when Margaret Majors and I used to tend bar on Sundays in the back womens bar of the Lost and Found? lol too funny.
How funny that I stumbled across this 40 yrs later.
Say hello to Allen for me, I wish him continued success.
You all remain in my heart with lots of memories.

I believe Mary died in Nov 2002. I was there the night she didn’t show up and no one knew why. It might have been 2003 but it was one or the other I believe.

There was a manager after Mary Knowles died, she was there for over two years and the left.
