Rally, protest against ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’

By on March 19, 2010

A rally and protest against ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ were held in downtown D.C. on Thursday. The rally at Freedom Plaza was coordinated by the Human Rights Campaign and featured comedian Kathy Griffin, among other speakers. The protest outside the White House saw gay U.S. Army Lt. Dan Choi and Jim Pietrangelo, a former Army captain who was discharged in 2004 for being gay, arrested after the two handcuffed themselves to the White House fence.
