For the record, if you’re looking for a great MCC Church outside DC, you don’t have to go all the way to Rehoboth. MCC of the Chesapeake is in Annapolis, welcomes everyone no matter where they are spiritually, and happily performs same-sex marriages in DC.

Keep trying to get you to include St. Stephen and the Incarnation Episcopal Church at 1525 Newton St. NW, http://www.saintstephensdc.org/. First to be racially integrated in DC, first to have a woman celebrate the Eucharist, first to sponsor a blessing of same gender partners, currently staffed with several gay clergy and with a welcoming and supportive congregation.
