AndrewW is half-right, “GetEqual’s self-serving publicity stunts don’t change any minds or votes.” BUT the ensuing media coverage DOES! And Barney Frank knows that THAT is true…

And that is the reason why the Capitol Police on April 20th pushed the media and an entire park full of tourists AWAY from the white house. So there would be limited or no media coverage showing the second round of military people chaining themselves to the white house fence. Watch the video:

Barney Frank is correct, these childish publicity stunts don’t accomplish anything but notoriety for self-proclaimed “activists.”

For GetEqual to suggest that these misfits “are putting themselves on the line” is just silly.

GetEqual’s self-serving ($) publicity stunts don’t change any minds or votes. It’s very easy to express anger and frustration, but it doesn’t help our movement. We need results, not laughs.
