Such a viewpoint is sorely needed. She would be a good foil for tghe right-wing element on the Court. Also, since she is Jewish, I think she would be an independent thinker and therefore inclined to rule more fairly than a Catholic or a fundamentalist religious extremist who suffers from a lifetime of prejudicial indoctrination.
