Without question, his position is that of Obama’s. Do you actually think that with such a sensitive area as DADT, Gates would have a public position that was not expressly vetted and approved directly by the President? Obama has been brilliant here — make big promises to us, but then do whatever he wants. Absolutely Clintonesque.
