I frequent Secrets and I believe it is a well run establishment. Staff and dancers are polite, friendly, well trained and informed. Having been a club promoter for more than 20 years, I can tell you this is one of the finest clubs in the country. I look forward to many visits to Secrets in the future.

Who cares if they are the hardest working people that you know. They broke the law, and DC is coming down on them. Accept facts. These people are not being unfairly targeted. All the whining. Just stop it. Own up and accept responsibility.

I am shocked and disguested at the injustice thrown upon Z/S by the ABC Brd. I personally know almost everyone that wrks there and these are the hardest wrking people that I know. They wrk tirelessly to provide a safe environment for the GLBT community while balancing the rules of the ABC Brd. The employees of Z/S wrk around the clock to keep safety and rules about alcohol & sexual activity respected and honored.

The members of the GLBT community that is on the ABC Brd that voted for this injustice should be ashamed of themselves as they are part of a Victorian-era enforcement Brd that lobbies rules against establishments they personally find offensive…and probably get a little mental kick for themselves for enforcing their morality on others who dont agree !!

I want to thank the Staff of Z/S for providing many of us a gay home, where we can be entertained and share a night with our friends, Partners, etc and never be judged for who we love. The Staff at Z/S is above-par at rule-enforcement and I am happy to call many of them my Family.

I think Veteran D.C. gay activist Frank Kameny said it the best regarding the ABC Brd:
“And it’s about time they stop applying the standards of 1910. Queen Victoria has been dead for 108 years. It’s about time they realize that.”

It also begs the question as to why these female “patrons” from the ABC board have it out for this establishment. Secrets should go back to their policy from the old days when women must be accompanied by a male in order to be granted entry. And Mike Silverstein? No comment. These people on the board have too much free time on thier hands. Get a hobby.
