Maybe if we all dressed up like one big pothole in front of the Wilson building or a big baseball stadium, we’d get his attention. Thank the goddess above that we have a strong, vibrant and engaged community, so that we can at least take care of ourselves. In DC, being LGBT makes us a target for violence (the highest in the country), HIV/AIDS (the highest in the country), and under achieving students (lowest in the country). Fenty even has a policy not to use the term hate crime. It’s time we raised the bar and demanded more from our elected officials. Oh and by the way…please support The DC Center :)

he has been a bystander, not a supporter of gay issues in the district. he did nothing on gay marriage but sign the bill. he didnt even testify. and he refuses to undo the PFOX letter. what is up with that? I dont know a bunch about Gray yet, but I will not be voting for Fenty.

I’m still pissed about that PFOX appreciation letter. Fenty doesn’t seem to have a clue. He definitely won’t be getting my vote in the primary!

It’s amazing that some of the lazier gays think he got us gay marriage. He did NOTHING to help us in that fight!

He has not been in ALLY to the DC gay community in any sense of the word!
