why should he be billed? its a FREE COUNTRY, and all this man did was decide to not return home for awhile. once he learned people were looking for him, he cleared up the matter. it may be stupid to not return home, but last i checked as adults we dont have to report our whereabouts to anyone. if he had tried to deceive law enforcement, then i can understand billing him… but he was cooperative.

It’s wonderful to know that this person has so many people who care about him, however, he is an adult and has the freedom to come and go at his liesure. His whereabouts are really no one’s business. Of course, as an adult, he will have to deal with the consequences of that decision.

It’s great that he is safe, but I think he needs to be billed for the costs associated with trying to find him. It was a stupid thing to just disappear without letting anyone know where you were.
