…but McCain himself has said that he will filibuster, if I am remembering correctly.

It’s kinda like Kagan’s “friends” saying clearly that she is not Lesbian. Makes a difference who says it.

McCain rides the fence and changes his position on issue after issue.

I recall McCain saying on TV immediately after passage of the Bush Tax Cuts that “This is Bad Legislatiuon!”. But a fer years later when tryng to gain his partys nomination, his pretty litle tune changed its key, 180 degrees. What a crying shame for a Congressman of used-to-be good character to loose his cred so late in his career. The old man needs to go.

The statement about John McCain filibustering is not true. The Washington Times has reported that his spokeswoman said flatly that “McCain is not filibustering the bill.”
