My thoughts exactly Frankie…we are part of the city and are taken care of so we should look at all the issues as a whole. We need to look at juvenile crime, sexual assault, illegal contracts, etc. when we decided to vote. LGBT is not my issue with Fenty. He is nothing but a crooked politician who takes credit for everything, except his mistakes and blatant disregard for the law.

I don’t get all this freak out about Mayor Fenty. Has everyone here forgotten we are part of a larger group of people, the citizens of Washington DC.

I mean really, what more do you think this Mayor can give us.

We are, and have been, well taken care of in DC.

I’m disappointed that the Blade chose not to ask a single question about the various wrongs the Fenty administration has committed against the trans community, as well as the overall softball nature of the questions. Would it be possible to elicit some depth beyond the usual stilted talking points?

Fenty my man its a little late to tie up your shoestrings ….your boots were taken from you long ago. I recall you making these statements when you were first voted in…and still to this day where have you been? When someone is pushed against a wall they are always going to find a way to try and get out..The gay community has a lot of issues that need to be resolved quickly and with a firm hand…and you have not proven that you can handle this…Maybe your opposition can maybe that cant, but I think most will be giving him a chance.
