GOP filibuster? Unless the Senate as rewritten its rules to redefine a filibuster, the GOP has not conducted even one filibuster that I’m aware of during this Congress. The Minority has threatened quite a few filibusters but thanks to cowardice on the part of the Majority leadership that has reached historic levels the Republicans have never had to actually follow through on their threats. No, Mr. Plouffe, that dog you’ve trotted out won’t bark.

Yeah, I’ll believe that one when I see it. Of course, it has nothing to do with the Democrats unwillingness to actually make the GOP filibuster like they did with health care.

Yeah, it’s all the GOP’s fault. The cowardice of Democrats and the open, unchallenged homophobic bigotry of members like House Armed Services Committee Chair Ike Skelton, who famously said that he opposed the repeal of DADT because then parents would have to explain homosexuality to their seven-year-olds, has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Yeah really, it’s all the GOP’s fault…really. After all, the Democrats say it is and they always tell us the truth don’t they?

I wonder: Does the Obama Administration really think we’re stupid enough to buy this bullpuckey? And if they are, is there still any reason for LGBT’s to vote for these people or give them money?
