Rosenstein is a terrible writer, trying to be a good writer.

Hyperbole: "The fear mongering that I have seen in columns and on blogs about Gray turning back the clock in D.C. are just that — fear mongering of the worst kind. " The worst kind? Really? He must not read very widely.

Incomprehensible: "Gray can do this and still not fire employees circumventing due process and then being forced to hire them back."

Terrible, trite, cliche: "His undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology may be helpful as he navigates the rough waters of discontent in the District."

Still, bad writing can be saved by interesting ideas. If this weren't only a terrible rehash of what everyone else has said better, it'd be worth running. And reading.

The Blade used to have some intelligent opinion pieces. Now, sadly, the paper has given a platform to ill-informed hacks likes Rosenstein. I for one am not looking forward to the Vincent Gray years. He will fail, and our city will suffer the consequences.
