AIDS Walk 2010
By Michael Key on October 5, 2010
Pennsylvania Avenue was closed to traffic on Saturday as hundreds of people participated in the annual AIDS Walk to benefit Whitman-Walker Clinic. The event featured performances by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, Peter Fox, the D.C. Cowboys and a Danish gymnastics team. Speakers included actress Lynda Carter (best known as “Wonder Woman” from the 1970s television show) and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton.
