Obama is a horrible person for defending the court in the decision in not letting same-sex couples marry. it pisses me off that they think that we don’t matter, america has become a worthless place. the pleade of alligonce say in it i quote “one nation under god, and indiviual,for LIBERTY and JUSTICE FOR ALL. I think Obama should decline to appeal the DOMA ruling. There will be other cases challenging DOMA and I don’t want to risk marriage rights in Massachusetts if the appeal goes the wrong way. Of course, should Obama appeal this up to the US Supreme Court he runs the risk of LGBT couples losing marriage rights nationwide.

FAEN – I would be very concerned that this get to the SCOTUS give its current make up. A defeat could mean that marriage would be delayed by another 15 years. AND it would invalidate what Massachusetts has done.

The Obama administration needs to appeal this so it get to SCOTUS. Otherwise DOMA dies ONLY in Mass. and that isn’t acceptable. We need Federal marriage across the country, not just in one state.
