Ed. I'm tired of defending the dems, but if you look at their positions and practices, you will see they are opposite from the republicans. The republicans want to change the constitution to enshrine discrimination, while the dems want to give us full equal rights. Blame our enemies for the lack of progress. They are the ones preventing our friends from being able to pass the bills they have introduced. Do you really want 8 more years of being demonized with no hope of positive legislation? A disappointing friend is better than a deadly enemy.

I am tired of being taken for granted. Obama could have signed an executive order when he came into office. His administration says what our community wants to hear when they come to us with their cup in hand, looking for money.

Money for what?

So they can fight us in court?

They feign to embrace equality. They claim to know hoosexuality is not a choice. Knowing its not a choice, how can Obama justify not embracing gay marriage. Many in the GOP oppose marriage out of ignorance. Democrats oppose it out of political expediency.

The Gertrude Stein Club and other quasi-gay organizations that claim they speak for the community can shove their political endorsements up their backside. They speak only for themselves when they embrace these charlatans, and their endorsement is of no greater value or influence than a cashier at Giant.

They have gotten their last dime & vote from me.

They are no better than the GOP. At least with the GOP, I know ahead of time when I am about to get screwed with that group. With the Democrats, it is always a surprise........maybe only to me.

Its like sticking your hand in fire & getting burned. How many times must we get burned by these users before we know it hurts?
