You will also be judged by what you promised to do, but then didn't do as opportunity knocked or even broke down the door.

Nothing more than a public relations piece for Obama right before the election. What is truly pathetic is how Obama has TOTALLY BLOWN the opportunity to deliver on our agenda when he had a dem Congress during these first two years. But, remember he selected Rev. Rick WarrPatheticen to delivery his inaugural invocation and then dared to lecture us on inclusiveness when we complained.

Does anyone REALLY believe anything will happen with a LESS supportive Congress. Such is our "fierce advocate." And BTW, remember the 3,000+ PWAs languishing on ADAP lists. .

Interesting read.

As a federal employee working for the Department of Defense overseas, I have not yet been offered same sex / domestic partner benefits although the Department of State Standardized Regulations (DSSR) which govern my benefits (and used by DOD) were changed in October 2009.

How can you trust a government that won't even follow it's own regulations or a government where not all federal agencies adhere to the same OPM policies? OPM and the Dept of Justice have implemented Obama's 2 June 2010 Memorandum to provide Same Sex partners some federal rights / benefits and yet the Department of Defense has not offered any guidance to its branches.
