This was a great event, in support of a great group! Immigration Equality has helped MANY LGBT people to win asylum in the US, from countries where laws criminalize homosexuality and where LGBT people’s lives are in danger. And they are working every day to change discriminatory laws in the US that prevent me from being allowed to sponsor my husband (a mexican citizen) for permanent residency in the US…a right that is available to binational couples of opposite sex marriages as a routine. I contributed a substantial amount at this event, because I believe in the mission of Immigration Equality…their success impacts me directly. My photo is the last one in the group…with the microphone…Please support this group, at http://www.immigrationequality.org
