Yeah Pelosi has been highly supportive of the community but so what? What matters to most people is what are you doing for me now baby? You can't just rest on your laurels and expect endless support in any job.

Pelosi failed to get ENDA out of committee for a vote by squandering the opportunities she had while majority leader always coming up with excuses like Healthcare has to come up first, you don't have the votes, or it cant' be voted upon at the same time as other pro-gay legislation! Tammy Baldwin and Barney Frank meanwhile just nodded their heads like idiots and did little or NOTHING to push Pelosi to take action! The GOP won't allow ENDA out of committee either for a fair up and down vote either. I'm seeing little difference between both parties.

Yeah, Harry Reid failed us in the Senate but if Pelosi had gotten ENDA voted upon in the House, then Harry could have followed suit. What can Obama do if he doesn't have a bill on his desk to sign into law?

The biggest screw ups of all we can say were the gay leaders! Instead of focusing on one Bill at a time like they did in the case of the Hate Crimes ACT, they crammed through too many bills at once and as a result ended up with NOTHING AGAIN! As a result, you had two gay bills ENDA and DADT competing with each other and in the end....the misguided priority became ending DADT. Only a fraction of us work for the US military. Most of us need public sector jobs to survive! And despite ENDA's chances now being in question with transgenders included in it, it's no more controversial than integrating the US military with openly gay servicemembers has proven itself to be.

Will you faggots ever learn from your mistakes? Now we can waste another generation or so before we get another chance at passing pro-gay legislation.

Meanwhile, HRC has no real vested interest in getting ENDA and other major legilsation passed anytime soon. If they did, they would become obsolete and people wouldn't want to contribute as much money as they do.....and Joe Solomese can't have his photo opportunties with celebrities, or fly First Class and HRC can't have its parties. Again, results are what matter and when you fail to deliver them consistently people will no longer have faith in you!

I like Pelosi, although I agree that she should have pushed through some more Pro-LGBT legislation, (they had two years for God's sake). If she is serious about doing anything tell her to call the Domestic Partnership Benefits & Obligations Act up for a floor vote. It has already passed out of committee, (Unlike ENDA) and has been waiting for a vote for almost 11 months. As for Hoyer and the Blue Dogs, I think they are the ones we should be watching, as they have actually stood in the way of Pro-LGBT bills passing. Even now, majority leader Hoyer refuses to call the DPBO bill up for a floor vote, (Pelosi & Hoyer must agree to schedule bills for floor votes) so I hope he gets the boot in favor of the more Progressive Clyburn taking the number two spot. Basically, if the Republicans and the Blue Dog traitors are complaining about you, then you must be doing something right. Keep Pelosi and Clyburn.
