You complain too damn much! It will get repealed by Congress also you didn’t vote for Obama STOP LYING you’ve been complaining from day 1 . So if he’s a ONE termer you can bet your bottom dollar that the next Pres will be a REPUBLICAN and as far as this Supermajority nonsense. Maybe you should get mad at those Senators who DID NOT want to work with him!

Politics is about power and consequences. IF DADT isn’t repealed during the lame duck session, we must exact major consequences. That means, no more votes for bigots (whether dems or reps), and we need to stop funding our own oppression. In general, I support a dem president so that the Supreme Court can have at least a glimmer of hope to pass pro-GLBT law. In the end, Obama foolishly squandered two years of supermajorities; for this, I will never forgive or forget what our professed “fierce advocate” promised. Clearly, this is a one-term president.

There are only 54 LGBT-supportive votes in the US Senate (lame-duck). It gets worse in January.

Did you think the Democrats have a “magic-wand?” It takes 60 votes in the US Senate. LGBT-issues are still “moral issues” and that isn’t affected by Party affiliation.

It isn’t simply “age” that determines a Senator’s position it is “religious intensity,” the Senator’s and their constituents. Connecticut has the lowest religious intensity in America and is very supportive, while Oklahoma is one of the highest States and is very anti-LGBT.
