This will be used as a weapon against gay people by christian conservatives especially since they cannot get gay people thrown out anymore once repeal is fully instituted of DADT.

This needs to be taken care of but I agree the GOP will not support it to please its base. But it’s possible enough will support a revision to allow consenting adults to do things in private leaving the other provision intact. Let’s be realistic.
