Sounds like you hang-out with a bunch of drug addicts and prostitutes. I know plenty of other gay people myself and frankly don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. Compared to all the pill-head straight people who are shooting dope and on their last leg, gay people are far, far less worse. Isn’t this just typical? An informative story, well written and not one empassioned comment! Gays (I am one) are the most ridiculously in denial and shamed about even being associated with a comment about HIV. I have been an educator for 15+ years and gay people are the most risky and careless of all groups. If I had a dime for each time a gay person told me they weren’t going to curb their behavior or try a “safer” technique, I would be a multi-millionare! “I am going to live my life and do what I want!” is one of the most common retorts I hear. Good luck with that when you are deathly ill and suffering because of your “DESIRES.”
