If he and his organization had led demands that the ban be lifted by the earliest date permitted by the bill’s language—February 22nd—no hearing Friday on the “”Review of the Implementation Plans for Repeal,” “no more [wasted] time or taxpayer money” would be possible. In the vacuum left by his and others in Gay, Inc.’s, lack of leadership and courage, we could see more demagogic hearings meant simply to stir up the demagogues homophobic base in May, June, July, August, September, and October.

As I often say, I’m not surprised when rabid dogs take every opportunity to do what rabid dogs do. It’s the culpability from those supposedly on OUR side in unintentionally aiding and abetting them that should be our focus.
