He wants to fund education but hasn’t said what he will cut. I think if he goes along with the Republican philosophy and Mara is a Republican, he will be cutting health care to the poor and seniors while making sure that businesses and the rich don’t pay any more in taxes.

I don’t know whether he will do this but it makes sense since Mara supports the Republican Party and that is how they propose to handle the federal deficit. Being moderate on social issues is no reason to elect Mara. You can’t win in DC if you aren’t moderate on social issues. Even Vincent Orange has had to change his tune but I think he will lose because no one can trust him.

It is important to vote on tuesday and I am supporting another candidate whose name I won’t mention here. But I think Mara owes the voters of the District some specifics and a denunciation of the Republican Ryan budget if he doesn’t agree with it. If he does agree with it the people of the District must be ware.
