N.Y. Governor Cuomo releases marriage equality video
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has released a video urging his supporters to contact their state lawmakers to urge them to support a pending marriage equality bill.
The New York state legislature has attempted before to pass the marriage equality bill, but has been stopped in the Senate several times for various reasons, most recently after a very volatile year of political party power grabs and other dramatic shifts in the Senate.
Governor Cuomo has long been a supporter of the marriage equality bill now facing the lawmakers.
The video was released this morning from the Governor’s office on the Governor’s official video channel.
