Chocolate City comes to D.C.

Several events — some sold out — are slated for this weekend’s Chocolate City Pride, a for-profit LGBT event not associated with D.C. Black Pride.

A “5,000 Men Pride Mega Party” and “Andrew Noel Fashion Show are tonight at Fur (33 Patterson Street, N.E.). A beach party is slated for Saturday at Sandy Point Beach in Annapolis. A “Manhunt Party” is Saturday night at Flagship Lounge (900 Water St., S.W.) from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. A pool party runs from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Accokeek, Md. Sunday night, a “Climax” party will be held at Ibiza Nighclub (1222 1st St. N.E.) with a $5,000 cash drop at midnight. The events end with an “Apocalypse” party on Memorial Day from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Layla Lounge, 501 Morse St. N.E.).
