Russian ballet screened in D.C.-area theaters

NCM Fathom presents “Giselle in 3D” Tuesday at noon and 7:30 p.m. at two theaters in the D.C. area, Hoffman 22 with IMAX (206 Swamp Fox Rd.) in Alexandria and Ballston Commons 12 (671 N. Glebe Rd.) in Arlington.

Pre-recorded at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia, “Giselle,” starring Natalia Osipova and Leonid Sarafanov, tells the story of simple village girl who falls deeply in love with a prince disguised as a peasant.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at fathomevents.com.
