The "F" word has never offended me, since my classmates in school called me that as an affectionate nickname. It didn't take long for them to wear the treads off that word and it never got traction. One time I even thanked a guy for calling me that. I said I had had such a bad day, that it worked to be a compliment. That really messed up his head and he never called me a name after that. They might as well have called me a splork. I don't mind if anyone calls me an F as long as they aren't wielding a tire iron and shouting it from across the street. In that context, I'd mind even if they called me by name. For that reason, I thought the joke was in poor taste, but, in a cringeworthy way, funny.
