Where’s her endorsement of an Obama executive order that the Pentagon not be allowed to deny gay military partner benefits that are NOT banned by DOMA such as access to “military housing”? The DoD has already explicitly said they INTEND to apply these forms of arbitrary discrimination, yet, our Commander-in-Chief is doing NOTHING about it.

Of course, if we had REAL gay service member advocacy groups instead of the co-opted posers at SLDN, SU, and [NOT]OutServe, both issues would have been made our Community’s cri de coeur beginning LAST YEAR, the moment they found out about it. Not wanting to be taken off the White House invitation list—or simply too witless or spineless—they’ve, instead, left most of or Community in total, blissful ignorance that actual repeal no longer means actual equality.
