Gay players present ‘Pinafore’ production

The GLBT Arts Consortium and the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (545 7th St., S.E.) present Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Pinafore” for eight performances starting Thursday at 7 p.m.

This adaptation, under the stage and musical direction of Peter DiMuro and Barbara Schelstrate, has been updated, but fans can still expect to enjoy “When I was a Lad” and “I’m Called Little Buttercup.”

Tickets are $20 ($10 for the Aug. 6 performance) and can be purchased by calling 202-547-6839 or e-mailing victor@chaw.org.
