The only sad reflection on the whole is that Mr. Frye felt it important to disrespect fellow gay athletes with his snide comment. A continued tragedy within the gay community of putting down others to make our personal self feel more elevated. Those snide comments actually sadly show we are no better than those that oppose our civil rights or our personally seeking acceptance to participate openly in broader sports programs both as amateurs or professionals. Some will just never learn.
