Wait, did I miss something? Is Rehoboth a Gay city? I thought true equality was access to all, by all? The straightization of Rehoboth!!! That reaks of partisantism, prejudice and hypocracy. I believe that march is in October. Sorry, but I won’t see you there. I’ll be busy building bridges and working for true equality and acceptance, borne out of acceptance and not anger.

I would gladly take part in it, Debbie. I thought electing Tom McGlone might be the only way to stop rampant straightiization of RB, as well as this anti-gay spirit we’ve been helplessly watching for the last 10 years. I’m afraid, though, that crass backwoods republicanism will ultimately prevail there.

Frank, I think it’s rather RUDE for people to congregate at very late hours and make noise disturbibg ALL people using profanity and stinking up the air with their cigarette smoke. Is this the type of environment YOU choose to live in? If so, your comment is understandable.

One, all cities – including DC – have tensions between businesses and residents – just look at Georgetown, Dupont, Adams Morgan, U Street – parking, noise – it’s not a gay/straight issue. Second, a third of Rehoboth’s council members are gay – a percentage not matched by LA, NY or DC.

Give me a break! I’m Gay and don’t like noisy bars and loud drunks in my neighborhood either! It’s about the rights of ALL people, not just you. Until people get that, there will never be full acceptance and equality. March somewhere else, like down to the water and keep going.
