Who was the male staffer with whom Perry allegedly had an affair? Maybe the man needs to speak out about it. The only way to defuse anti-gay hypocrisy by those who want to condemn us publicly while “getting some on the side” is to publicly expose the hypocrites. Hoist them up by their own petard, as they say. If that sounds too “radical” for some delicate PC palates, then let me ask you this: How do you like the second-class status people like Rick Perry keep you in? How can anyone who believes it acceptable to discriminate against an entire class of citizens aspire to lead a nation whose founding document promises “equal justice under law” for ALL Americans, not only heterosexual Americans? I won’t even mention the man’s earlier call for Texas to secede from the union he now wants to lead.
