Police log: Jan. 13

The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Gay & Lesbian Liaison Unit was involved in the following investigations:
- On Jan. 8, in the 700 block of Newton Street, N.W., two complainants, reported that they were assaulted and robbed at gunpoint by a suspect. The suspect then fled the scene.
- On Jan. 7, in the 4200 block of Benning Road, N.E., a woman reported walking in the area when she was accosted by four male suspects. The suspects punched the victim repeatedly and knocked her to the ground. Before fleeing the scene, the suspects took the victim’s purse.
