I can't believe that you would perpetuate such ridiculous 1950's homophobic stereotypes. As an actual gay man, I can tell you that I have only once watched part of an Oscars episode, but I always watch and enjoy the Super Bowl. You are using a false stereotype that gay people are somehow more interested in movies than sports. This is a lie. It's hard to imagine something more boring than a Hollywood celebrity awards show.

No, the Super Bowl is our Super Bowl. It is unbelievable that the Blade still stereotypes all gay men as lovers of glitter, glam, dazzling divas, and fabulous costumes. Believe it or not, there are plenty of gay guys who actually enjoy football and other sports.

I guess I'm going to show myself as "not really gay" again, but I've never watched the Oscars. Perhaps a gay presence and sensibility have long permeated Hollywood, but they've long permeated lots of things.
