This still occurs even after 30 years. It’s no wonder there are so many same-sex marriage opponents. One read of this article and the reader gets the impression that sex at any cost is the only care of the gay population. But there are those that are infected in spite of knowing all the facts.Unless you’re raped in prison you have an obligation to protect yourself and your partner.

Do your research Maryland! These laws are used against women in abusive relationships. I have a list of women across the US who have been jailed on these laws… NO transmission, just didn’t disclose their status to their partner. They also had protected sex and some were on antivirol meds (less than 3% chance of transmitting virus in you have unprotected sex) but that didn’t matter. Wake up MD Black Caucus… talk to the CBC, they are much more educated on the topic
