The Shirley Temples, a cycling team, has scheduled a night of casino-style games for Saturday, April 21 in the games room of the Silo Point building (1200 Steuart St., Baltimore).

The event, Play for the Feast, is a preliminary fundraiser for the team’s Ride for the Feast 2012 — the 10th anniversary, two-day, 140-mile bike ride event through the state of Maryland, from Ocean City to Baltimore City May 19-20. The distance of 140 miles is selected because that is how far a Moveable Feast driver must travel to deliver to the farthest client.

Play for the Feast will feature billiards and other table games, blackjack tables with prizes, a silent auction, a 50-50 raffle, a money wheel and foods by some of Maryland’s most exciting purveyors and chefs.

The goal of both events is to raise funds for Moveable Feast’s services, to increase awareness of nutritional needs of people living with HIV/AIDS and breast cancer and to have fun. For more information, visit moveablefeast.org.
