Point Foundation plans D.C. fundraiser

The Point Foundation, a national organization that provides scholarships and leadership training for LGBT students of merit, will hold a D.C. fundraiser on May 3 from 6-8 p.m. at the Equality Center at the Human Rights Campaign, 1640 Rhode Island Ave., N.W.

Jorge Valencia, Point Foundation’s CEO, will attend, along with scholarship recipients and alumni. Tickets start at $75. Visit pointfoundation.org/dc for more information or to donate.
