Mayor Vincent Gray will participate in a second annual Pride Town Hall event on Thursday, June 7. The mayor will be interviewed by Blade reporter Lou Chibbaro Jr. at an event open to the public; there will be an opportunity for the public to ask questions as well.

“One City Pride Reception: An Evening with Mayor Vincent C. Gray” will be held at the Charles Sumner School Museum & Archives, 1201 17th St., N.W. A reception will start at 6 p.m. followed by the live interview with Gray at 7 p.m. From 7:45-8:30 p.m. several area gay elected officials will speak on a panel about being LGBT in politics. That panel will be moderated by Blade reporter Chris Johnson.

The evening concludes with a dessert reception from 8:30-9 p.m.

The event is jointly sponsored by the Blade and Capital Pride.
