I have no respect for Nancy Pelosi because I see her as a hypocrite. Why does she stay Catholic? It is like a Democrat constantly voting Republican. She should become Episcopalian. Queen Elizabeth said to the Church of England – believe anything you want, just pray together. That is where Pelosi belongs.

Thank God for Nancy Pelosi. At least with her in charge of the house we saw action on several LGBT rights initiatives, unlike in the Senate or the White House. Truly the push for LGBT rights was coming from the Democrat controlled House led by Nancy Pelosi. I sincerely hope the Dems take back the House and put Pelosi back in charge as the Speaker. If nothing else, I know she will drop the defense of the damn DOMA, and I believe she will work to pass ENDA this time, now that DADT has been repealed and the Matthew Sheppard Hate Crimes Law has been passed, and again, we have her and the other Progressive Democrats to that for those accomplishments.

A major premise of this article is that Democrats would be stupid enough to re-elect Pelosi as House Speaker. I don’t see that happening, considering she is largely to blame for the Democrats losing the House in the first place.
