The Washington Business Journal has named gay-owned law firm Ackerman Brown PLLC as one of the city’s “Best Places to Work.”

Ackerman Brown was honored as one of the 50 top workplaces in the Washington area at the publication’s awards ceremony held on June 1, ranking third in its category. The ranking is determined by a quantitative employee survey.

“It’s great to be recognized alongside so many accomplished employers in the Greater Washington area,” added Glen H. Ackerman, partner in charge of the Washington, D.C. office, which represents the Blade in legal matters.  ”We are committed to promoting a positive culture in the workplace.”
