Laura-The President’s move on the DREAM act was one he had always wanted to do and would have happily signed the bill had the GOTP’ers in Congress not been such petulant children. The fact that it energizes the base and Latino voters is a bonus but IMHO the President did it becuase its the correct thing to do. I know the President wants to protect binational couples and pass ENDA and he will do what he can with an executive order. That’s a far cry from what the Republicans would do.

Well this is one gay man who is voting for Mitt and there are a lot of us who feel the economy is more important that all else. The Panderer In Chief is on the way-out, can’t wait for 01/20/13!

Why would the L.G.B.T. community expect Obama to make any announcements? He was looking for the Latino/Latina votes and that’s all that was about. Obama knows that very few gays and lesbians or trans-people are going to willingly vote for Mitt. Why would they? A vote for Mitt is political suicide. Barak isn’t going out on a limb and risk his reputation for votes he already has.
