OPM’s Berry to headline Obama beach fundraiser

Gay Democratic activists are planning to hold a fundraiser for President Obama’s re-election campaign in Rehoboth Beach, Del., on Saturday, Aug. 4, featuring remarks by John Berry, director of the Office of Personnel Management and the highest-ranking openly gay official in the federal government.
Jeffrey Lerner, the Democratic National Committee’s national political director, will also attend. The event will be held at the home of Christopher Swanson and Jeff Printz, 6 London Circle North, Rehoboth Beach, Del., from 5-7 p.m. Hosts ($2,500 and above) and sponsors ($1,000) receive an invitation to the cocktail party and dinner; supporters ($500 and $250) receive an invitation to the cocktail party.
