		<description><![CDATA[The Gender Non-Discrimination Act (AKA GENDA) may have passed the New York Assembly, however, it has not even been voted on by the Republican dominated New York Senate.  Therefore, there is no law preventing discrimination against transgender folks or anyone else expressing non-conforming gender roles.  The battle for equal civil rights under  NY law continues.  As does the fight for equality  under federal law.  Remember the last six words of the Pledge of Allegiance, &quot;with liberty and justice for all&quot;.
