St. Mark’s Lutheran Church will present “Love Free or Die,” a documentary about Bishop Gene Robinson—the first openly gay bishop in the Episcopal Church on Sept. 30. It will take place at the church at 2100 St. Paul St. in Baltimore at 2 p.m.

The event is co-sponsored by Reconciling Works MD, formerly known as Lutherans Concerned Baltimore, then Lutherans Concerned Maryland—the support group for gay Lutherans that also works for full inclusion of gays in the Lutheran Church.

“Love Free or Die” is about a man whose two defining passions are in direct conflict: his love for God and for his partner Mark. Admission is free; voluntary donations are welcome. For more information, contact Marion Malcolm, 410-466-1698 or John Carter, 410-230-3548.
