What a load of horse sh!t. If parenting had anything to do with how I turned out, I would be an anti gay, country western music listening, bigoted southern baptist, driving a pick up in Texas. I left Texas for good reason, I can’t stand country music, and I turned out to be a transgender pagan woman living in Washington state. The hate is coming from the likes of Mr. Perkins and his hate label making cohorts. He should spend less time trying to police the bedrooms of other people and get out in the world and find out what real people believe.

In all cases and at all times in the political history of the US, the most vocally outspoken anti-gay politicians or heads of organizations have turned out to be gay. Tony Perkins is no different than the dozens of others who have proven that FACT. It’s only a matter of time before he’s exposed as a deeply closeted self-hating gay man.

Homosexuality is caused by parenting? Are you kidding me? How can someone that is so extremist in his views that completely disagree with all credible medical and psychological research even be given a forum to speak? I’m not sure why Tony Perkins is so obsessed with gay people but he looks like a closet case to me. Maybe that explains his obsession?
BTW, while I do feel that some people’s sexuality can be affected by experiences, boht negative and positive, such as childhood molestation, rape, incest, prison, childhood sexual experiences etc. I feel the vast majority of LGT folks are born that way. From my anecdotal experience, I think bisexuality is more likely to be affected by environment and experience than is exclusive homosexuality.
